ON METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO ASSESSING THE
READINESS OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROJECTS

Annotation: Modern information systems (IS) are complex systems and their design requires significant
financial and time costs and is associated with significant risks. In this regard, the
development of a methodology for assessing the readiness of IS projects is a very urgent task.
This article analyzes approaches to assessing the level of readiness of scientific and technical
IS projects based on the use of a 9-level scale. Proposals for their improvement for
application in Russia, including the development of new standards, are formulated.
