Annotation: The creation and implementation of new domestic solutions in the IT field is an indispensable condition for the innovative development of defense industry enterpris es. The GEF and professional standards in the field of IT are considered. It was noted that the advance preparation of required IT-staff is hampered by the lack of harmonization of these standards. The ways and forms of participation of defense enterprises in educational process of educational organizations are outlined.
